Saturday, the Twelfth of April

This morning Mom and I had a nice omelets breakfast at the local diner, which is something I always enjoy. There is something about those "Diner Omelets" that makes them special, and I don't think I've ever seen one correctly replicated at home in all my egg-critiquing years of life (however, that isn't to say that Mom or anyone else makes bad omelets, not at all). After that we decided to visit Brookhaven Hospital with the intent of acquiring my birth certificate, so we can bring that to the social security place to get my number, so I can go on the senior trip. No luck there, as birth certificates must be asked for at the town hall, which isn't open on Saturdays. The rest of the day was spent looking for yard sales. Once again we had no luck; apparently tis not the season yet.

It was raining and thundering by the time we got home, and I put my cactus out to get some fresh air and rainwater. He looks very happy now.

Little Sven is great. He looks so little. I also love the new blog look even though I was at your house when you did it and I owned you on the computer. So hope you keep it up and CARE about it.
